In news that'll surprise none of her stans: Ciara loves a good challenge. (I mean, were you one of the 11 million people who saw her slay this viral dance to Drake's "In My Feelings"?) Girl has the self-confidence to follow through with anything she puts her mind to. She once told Harper's Bazaar: "You can do whatever you want if you believe in itperiod."

At 14, setting a lofty goal for herself meant getting a record deal (which she did two years later) and selling at least three million copies of her first album. (She sold five mil, no big deal.) And today, at 34, she has her sights set on a different target: Leveling up her fitness again after giving birth to her third child, a boy named Win, at the end of July. (Ciara also has an older son, Future, who was born in 2014, and a daughter, Sienna, who was born in 2017.)

A couple weeks ago the singer took to her Instagram account to share with her followers that she's started working out again with one specific aim: "48lbs to go! Starting the game plan tomorrow!! P.s. dont know how easy its going be considering 3 babys now! Going to work really hard at this! Lets go Mammas ," she wrote.

To put that into perspective, Ciara is 5'7" and her goal weight is approximately 137 pounds, down from 205 lbs., which is how much she appears to have weighed when she gave birth, based on the intel she shared on social. (She'd already lost 20 lbs. at the time of her post.) That would put her body mass index (BMI) at about a 22, which is in the range that's associated with the lowest risk for chronic disease like diabetes and cancer, according to the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

After her second pregnancy, Ciara shared with Cosmopolitan that she split up her training sessions throughout the day in order to fit them in to her understandably busy schedule: "It was kind of like, wake up in the morning, breastfeed, eat a small meal, go train, come back in, breastfeed, eat another meal, go train, then come back, have another meal, and then a third training session at night. It was a good challenge, one I set for myself, not for anyone else. Taking care of myself makes me feel really good. And I want to keep it sexy too, you know."

It's unclear if Ciara's following the same type of program this time around. But since sharing her new fitness goal on her 'gram earlier this month, she's been posting snippets of her workout routine to her stories. TBH, it's impressive, and not just for a new mom. Here's what we've learned so far about Ciara's workout routine these days.

1She's back training with Decker Davis.

Davis is the personal trainer to not just Ciara, but her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, too. Together, they lean heavily into cross training, switching up Ciara's workouts between Tabata, plyometrics, strength training, and cardio, according to People.

2Ciara consistently works out multiple times per week.

Okay, we're not tracking Ciara's social media accounts everyday, but enough to see that she seems to be following the same workout advice she did after her second pregnancy: Consistency counts!

In the same interview with People following Sienna's birth, Ciara shared that while she used to just work out when she wanted to get in shape for a performance or photoshoot, her mindset toward training really shifted as she got older and started having kids.

Now, she trains regularly, four times per week, at least, and says that she's seen major results with this shift: "What I learned by having that daily commitmentand it doesnt mean that I go in the gym every day, because you need to let your body recoverbut when I started to become more consistent, I realized how much better I felt, and how much easier my workouts became because it wasnt so aggressive. Thats game-changing on the body and the mind. I feel like I can conquer the world on the days I work out, and its very rewarding," she said.

3She strength trains with resistance bands.

While we'll never knock dumbbells or other free weights when it comes to strength training. You can totally get stronger using resistance bands. This is especially true if you use them for your upper body, like Ciara is doing with these rows. Recent research in the Journal of Human Kinetics finds that bands are even better at recruiting muscle fibers than free weights because they create more instability.

4She doesn't dread the tread.

Treadmill workouts are one way that Ciara is getting in her cardio training during quarantine. She shared an Instagram story recently of herself in action. In the video, she sings: "It's Monday FUNday? Nahhh, it's Monday RUNday! Ayyyy, let's get it!" We'd say, she's off to a good start.

5Rowing workouts are a part of Ciara's fitness routine RN.
