How to Watch ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Right Now –

Your favorite oddball couple is back. Venom hit theaters back in 2018 and gave us Tom Hardys strange and wonderful performance as both Eddie Brock and his powerful alien symbiote, Venom. Despite release delays due to Covid-19, the sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is now out, so we can all enjoy even more of these Marvel characters increasingly strangeand closerelationship.

In the 2018 film, we meet Eddie Brock (Hardy), an investigative journalist hellbent on bringing injustice to light. When looking into a research facility and its shady experiments, he discovers an alien creature who attaches itself to him. Its destructive, chaotic, and yearns to eat people. And its name is Venom.

Venom, a symbiote, bonds with Eddie and by the end of the film, they decide to team up and stop crimes (kinda). And also eat people. But, in predictable superhero movie fashion, theres a clear lead-in to the movies sequel. In a final scene, Eddie visits a prison where Woody Harrelson plays serial killer Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who promises to bring carnage. See where were going with this?

Now Venom: Let There Be Carnage is out, introducing yet another symbiote, this one bonded with Kasady. Its up to Eddie and Venom to stop Carnage before he, well, brings carnage. That said, theres only one way to watch Venom 2 right now.

Unlike other Marvel characters films, the Venom movies are distributed by Sony Pictures, not Marvel/Disney. That means Venom 2 wont be available on a streaming service (yet) on release, and can only be seen in theaters.

And since Sony hasnt announced any hybrid release deals with major streaming services, its unlikely Venom 2 will appear on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime or HBO Max in the near future (many Sony films eventually land on Starz, though, if you have a subscription there). If you want to watch the film at home, itll likely be a couple months wait before a digital release.
