Tabby Town, Petco plan adoption expo – La Crosse Tribune

ONALASKA Tabby Town USA and Petco of Onalaska will sponsor the sixth annual Mega Adoption Expo on Saturday, a one-stop shopping event featuring a variety of rescue and humane organizations under one roof.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in and on the grounds of Petco at 1231 Crossing Meadows Drive.

The organizations will provide information on their animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts, and many animals will be available for adoption, including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, small mammals and others.

Also featured will be food, dessert and beverage sales, a basket raffle, childrens games, professional balloon sculpturing, face painting and a baby animal petting area.

A new facet of the event will be the presence of Alter-Ations Inc., which injects microchips in dogs.

Other participating agencies include the American Standardbred Adoption Program, Trempealeau County Humane Society, New Leash on Life, Crawford Area Shelter for Animals, La Crescent Animal Rescue and the Trempealeau Region Alley Cat Society.
