A miniature Australian Shepherd found wandering on Rabbit Ears Pass is officially up for adoption at the Routt County Humane Society.

After receiving a clean bill of health, Nemo the adorable miniature Australian Shepherd is finally ready to find a new home.

Anyone wanting to adopt Nemo must apply in person at the shelter located at 760 Critter Court in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Applications will be accepted on Friday, January 31, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Applications will reviewed from Friday through Saturday. The new owner will then be notified shortly after.

According to a report from the Steamboat Pilot, the shelter received about 50 phone calls and 50 emails in just a two day period from people wanting to adopt Nemo.
