A local animal rescue is looking for either foster or forever homes for over 20 potbellied pigs that are currently under their care.

Pigs may not be the right pet for every family, but you would be surprised what great companions they make," Denise Bitz, President of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue said in a press release. "Pigs are super intelligent, funny, charismatic little creatures and they make great indoor/outdoor pets.

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (BWAR) said the pigs were rescued after they were abandoned in a cemetery in Tennessee. BWAR said several of the pigs were pregnant and gave birth under the rescue's care.

The rescue said all adopted pigs will be up-to-date on vaccines and spayed or neutered.
